Coronavirus Response

 

St Francis College resumed face-to-face lectures in all subjects from Semester 2, 2020.  For the those who wish to attend on-line, Zoom meetings are also available.

Social distancing regulations remain in place throughout the College.

For SFC students this means:

  • Lectures can be accessed through logging in to a ‘Zoom Meeting’. 

  • To prepare for lectures please download Zoom and be ready when your meeting starts
    https://zoom.us/

  • your lecturer will provide the meeting link to you (please accept the invitation)

  • join the class meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone.

The Roscoe Library re-opened its doors on Monday 8 June, 2020.

Together we can help stop the spread and stay healthy.

Upon arrival at the Roscoe Library, all visitors are required to sign in for the purpose of COVID-19 contact tracing.
Important information for all visitors: by signing in you are agreeing to the following:
• You will return all borrowed items to the Returns Trolley at the top of the stairs.
• You will use hand sanitiser (provided) before entering and on leaving the library.
• You will only enter the library if you have not been in close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days; and you currently have no respiratory or flu-like symptoms.
• You will comply with social distancing requirements of being 1.5 metres apart.
• You will wipe all items touched (pens, books, copier, computer mouse, scanner, desktop) with a disinfectant cloth (provided).
• After wiping all books touched or used within the library, you will place them on the Quarantine trolley.

Once inside, please note these additional expectations:
• Maximum of 20 people in the Roscoe Library, including staff, at any time.
• Work in designated spaces.
• Maximum of 2 people per aisle.

We’ve tried to limit the signage; if you’re unsure of anything, please ask.

Our current opening hours are
Monday: 1:30pm—4:30pm
Tuesday—Friday: 9:30am—4:30pm

If you are on site please remember to practise good hand and respiratory hygiene.

  • clean your hands with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rubs

  • cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or flexed elbow when coughing or sneezing

  • avoid contact with anyone who has symptoms such as fever, a cough, sore throat, fatigue, and shortness of breath.
