4. Evil and what to do about it

This video is a collection of the four questions under this theme:

4.1  Is evil real?

4.2 Is a person born evil, or do they become evil, or is there another interpretation for behaviour that we perceive to be intrinsically evil?

4.3 Why do some people get away with doing really bad stuff?

4.4 What happens when the Church allows evil actions within its walls? Where is God in that?

Here are some passages from Scripture to consider when you watch this…

Genesis 2:4-3:24 – Second creation story

Matthew 4:1-11 – Temptation of Jesus

Isaiah 45:5-12 – God is creator of all

Matthew 13:24–30 – God allows evil to exist until the time is right

There are so many more! Can you think of some?
