Room Bookings Terms and Conditions

This information applies to bookings for:

  • Lecture Room 1

  • Lecture Room 2

  • Bishopsbourne Boardroom

  • Bishops Bourne Function Room and Veranda

  • Bishopsbourne Library

  • Chapel of the Holy Spirit

  • Main Wing Common Room

  • Main Wing Court Yard and Veranda

  • Old Bishopsbourne TV 1 - with Zoom capabilities

  • Old Bishopsbourne TV 2 - TV only

  • Studio

Please sign in at Administration on arrival. If your booking is outside business hours, please contact rod.mengel@anglicanchurchsq.org.au  48 hours prior to your booking to arrange access and collect a key.


Work Health and Safety

Upon arrival, familiarise yourself with the location of:

  • Emergency evacuation and evacuation diagram.

  • Emergency contact numbers.

  • Fire extinguishers.

  • QR Codes for Incidents, Hazards and Maintenance requests.

  • First Aid kit (in kitchen on fridge in Lecture Room 1).

  • AED is located in Lecture Room 1

  • Toilets are located in Administration Building (Monday – Saturday 9am – 10pm)

  • Light switches.

  • Remember to call “000” in an emergency.

Getting here and car parking

  • If your guests are travelling by Train, Milton Station is about 250m away and easily accessible via a tunnel under Milton Road.

  • By bus Baroona Road Bus Stop 7 is adjacent to our Baroona Road entry.

  • And by car, entry is at 27 Baroona Road opposite Baroona Road Shops. Follow the ring road up around to your left. There is ample carparking in the carpark below administration. Turn left and head down the hill. Please don’t park in staff or residents carparks.

 Housekeeping

  • Make sure that if you have moved the tables and chairs that they are returned to their usual positions.

  • Turn off Urn, lights, and air-conditioning, check the windows are closed and lock lecture room door on departure.

  • Empty bins. (rubbish bins are located behind Lecture room 1)

  • If you unlocked a door, please ensure that you lock it on departure. If you think that you will be later than 10pm please let me know so that I can contact security.

  • The air conditioning struggles at times so please keep doors and windows closed. Aircon is set at 24C which is the recommended temperature.

Other things to remember.

  • Don’t attend if you are feeling unwell.

  • Remember to social distance.

  • There is a supply of hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for your use.

  • Wipe down all tables and chairs with wipes before leaving.

  • There is a water cooler, portion control tea, coffee, biscuits etc. and single use biodegradable cups available.

  • Where food and drink are being served at the college single use plates, and cutlery is preferred. If crockery, cutlery, or glassware is used then it must be cleaned and placed away.

Zoom Rooms

Applies to Lecture Rooms 1 and 2, and OBTV1

  • If you require the use of Zoom or wish to show a PowerPoint presentation, please contact rod.mengel@anglicanchurchsq.org.au for instructions.

  • Please don’t pull any plugs out or turn it off.

  • Lecture Room 1: The podium (Podiun) is height adjustable but is not easily moved so please do not attempt too.
